Qian Yu specializes in insurance, corporate and commercial litigation. Qian Yu earned a bachelor degree in law from China University of Mining and Technology in 2007 and obtained LL.M. in International Business and Investment Law from University of Amsterdam in 2012. Qian Yu has been admitted to practice in the People’s Republic of China and is a member of the All China Lawyers Association. 

Prior to joining Deken, Qian Yu was a senior lawyer at a highly reputable law firm in China and has provided legal advice to many state-owned enterprises, domestic and overseas listed multinational companies in areas such as insurance, foreign direct investment, compliance, M&A, financing, protection of intellectual property and corporate and commercial litigation. Previously she advised among others Export-Import Bank of China, Taikang Life Insurance Co. Ltd., China National Offshore Corporation on indemnity, compliance and utilization of insurance funds and was counsel in insurance litigation claims.

Qian is fluent in English and Chinese.
